Here they are, the instructions for the RPG! sunny

First of all, what is a RPG? RPG stands for role playing game, and in this forum, you pretend to be a character of One Piece. To start, you need to go to the forum 'Character creation' and fill a form to request approbation for your character. When your character has been confirmed by the Game Master, you can go to profile - RPG info and enter your character name to create it.

What are dice rolls? Dice rolls are how to level up and gain new skills in the RPG. Each time you post a reply, there will be a space at the bottom of the button 'send' that says dice roll. For each post you write, even if it isn't in the section of the RPG settings, you can roll one 'EXP dice', which will give you from 1-5 exp per post. The Game Master will inform you of the amount you got. You will need 100 exp to get to the next level.

1-5 exp per post is too slow? There's a faster way to level up! In the RPG section of the forum, each time you do an action (example: training, fighting, sparring...), not only you get one EXP dice roll, but the Game Master will also accord you more exp based on your action. The amount may vary from 10 to 30 exp per action. Also, each time you post a topic, you automatically get 5 exp.

Now, what are strength, dexterity, endurance and ability points? I will explain them one by one.

At each level up, you will get 5 points that you can put into any category: strength, dexterity, endurance or ability. Be sure to reply to the Game Master when you level up and tell him where you want you points to be put into.

Strength points are to determine your attack. At each five points in strength, you get one 'attack dice' roll. Each attack dice ranges from 1-10, which means you can take off 1-10 hp of your enemy. In some cases, such as training, you won't need to roll an attack dice. The Game Master will inform you which dice to roll in the different RPG settings.

Dexterity points are to determine if you can land an attack on your enemy. You can only roll one 'hit dice', no matter your amount of dex points. If you roll an number that is higher that your enemy's dex, your attack is successful. If not, you miss. The first enemies have very low dex, so don't worry. The same goes for anyone who attacks you. They have to roll a hit dice with a number higher than your dex to be able to attack you. Note that your dexterity points cannot go above 25, so adding more into dex after it reaches 25 is useless.

Endurance points are to determine your hp. Each 5 points in endurance let you roll one 'health dice'. You start a level with 50 hp. Each of your first posts in a forum lets you roll one health dice which will add from 1-10 hp to your character. The more dices you have, the higher your hp is to begin the adventure.

Ability points are activated at level 5. Each 5 points added into ability let you roll one 'ability dice'. Starting from level 5, you can get, by meanings of quests or fights, skill books that will enable you to learn a skill proper to your character. To use a skill, you will need to tell the Game Master which skill you're attempting to use. Then, after you roll an ability dice, the Game Master will inform you either the skill use was successful or not. To be able to use the skill, you need to have rolled a number higher or equal to its 'necessary ability points'.

So there, all the dice rolls are explained. Something you should understand: when participating a discussion out of the RPG, you can roll one EXP dice for each post you write. The exp you've got will be automatically added to your exp bar. When in the RPG, the Game Master will reply, telling you how much exp you've got, how much hp you've gained/lost, if any items were discovered... You can roll one EXP dice per every post in the RPG too. The health dice can only be rolled on the first post in every RPG forum (RPG setting). You have to inform the Game Master where to put your points after each level up.

Hope it's clear enough... I'm not very good at explaining, if you have any questions feel free to ask by replying, though you will only get an EXP dice roll after your character has been created and approved. Razz
