A three people adventure ~ Luffy, Zoro and Nami's start

Time: After Nami joined the crew, after meeting Buggy the Clown and before island with strange animals
Setting: Luffy, Zoro and Nami arrives on an island after days of sailing on their small boat. What kind of people, creatures and objects do they find on this island? What actions do they take? How will the adventure end for them?

Nami was looking outside, at the mountainous island, not so far of the little boat where she was. This island was abnormally shiny, so it caught her eyes.

While the two others were sleeping, she navigated in direction of the little island.

*Maybe there will be some treasure there. I should go see... To the hell those two sleeping guys*

While Nami is rowing towards the island, Zoro stirs in his sleep. He peeks open an eye, blinks and sits up. Nami doesn't see him, being focused on her rowing. Zoro notices an island not too far away from their little boat, and it seems as if their navigator is headed that way.

'What is she up to?' Zoro thinks, but since he has no idea where to go, he decides to leave it to Nami. The day is still early, the sun is high up in the sky and the swordsman decides he has plenty of time for naps and falls back to sleep, careful not to wake up Luffy.

While the guys are sleeping, the little boat slowly accosts to the shiny island with Nami's rowing.

Nami, who didn't notice anything about Zoro's activity, got off of the boat first, looking at the top of the mountain. It was at this spot that the shining was the most powerful...

Unable to resist to the temptation to go towards the light, she decided to leave the boat behind and climb that mountain of jewelery, because this was what she saw in her mind.

She didn't even look back, leaving the two guys, still asleep.

*I'm sure that I can get back before they even open their eyes... Or else, they can manage to feed them on their own... right?*

Just as Nami disappeared in the forest surrounding the island, we finally hear some noise from Luffy: " FOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD!" That single cry of hunger scared all the chirping little birds in the surrounding trees and also awoken the grumpy sleeping Zoro.

Luffy turns his head back and fourth and wonders: "Eh, where's Nami?" Well no time to care about that, first thing first: he needs food! "Zoro! Let's go hunt some weird monsters on this strange island!" he calls up.

Zoro, not at all happy with his rather loud wake-up call, scrowled at Luffy.

"What the hell? How do you know there's anything on this island? It looks deserted for me."

In fact, no sign of life was seen, apart from the birds that Luffy scared away earlier... but that doesn't count. No human activity was seen anywhere. But his captain was right, they needed food and Nami was no where to be found... As Zoro thought back, that woman was seeming rather eager to arrive here.

While the green-haired man was looking around, Luffy was still complaining about his hunger. That idiot captain of his was sure there was monsters to hunt on this island. Yawning loudly, Zoro picked up his swords, tied them solidly to the side of his haramaki and left, half-dragging his captain so he won't get lost in his eagerness for food.

But of course, with the directionally challenged swordsman leading, both of them were soon lost in the dense forest.

Meanwhile, Nami was still trying to reach the top of the mountain... The glowing at the top was faint, but it was here, even though Nami didn't feel like arriving there anytime soon.

She became tired after a little while, when she thought that she needs to find some food...

*Hm... seems like there's no shops around here. Let's see, I'm going to eat those wild berries...*

She picked some, unknowing their properties, and she fell on the ground and she thought, before falling unconscious:

*Arg... I think that I'll need those two guys to get me out of this situation. I hope that they won't get lost, or else I'll die TT*

"Foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood..." Luffy cried out lifelessly. Zoro was dragging him by one foot and he was literally sliding on the ground, leaving a trail behind him.

Luffy was about to sob out another cry of despair when several blue and red colored points appeared at the corner of his eyes. "Zoro!" The suddenly excited Luffy abruptly jumped away from the swordsman's clutches and landed right beside the wild berries, pointing towards the fruits with a face of amazement. "FOOD!" he screamed out excitedly with a voice of triumph swinging his two arms in the air. No time to think, with lightning's speed, the captain of the ship grabbed the deliciously looking berries and was about to put them in his mouth.

"Luffy! No!" When Zoro heard his captain's claim, he immediately turned back and knowing better than to eat wild berries and mushrooms without knowing their effects, the swordsman lunged at Luffy before the raven could throw them into his already wide open mouth, but someone beat him to it.

As the small fruits were falling towards Luffy's mouth, a shadow swept through the undergrowth, knocking the captain off his feet, gobbed down the berries still in the air and made a run for the bushes. But before it could get away, Zoro slid in front of its escape route and blocked the way.

"This shall be our lunch," announced the swordsman, unsheathing Wadou with a smirk.

Luffy sighed, oh well, he just have to knock over that weird looking monster right? At least, this will be fun. "Zoro! I'll take care of that food stealer!" He said grinning with all his teeth, with his left arm already over his shoulder as if preparing to punch. The monster, a really strange animal with two huge horn on the front of his head, seemed really angry that someone was blocking his way. It turned around after hearing Luffy's loud call and decided to charge towards the still half-smiling kid. The crew captain, totally unfazed by the fierce beast, got his punch ready, knuckle almost white and cried out: " GomuGomu... PISTOOOOOOOOL"... and the punch flew away with an incredible speed.

The monster, knocked away by Luffy, landed in front of Zoro. It stood up and seeing that Luffy was too strong for him, tried to attack Zoro. It charged forward, horns pointed to the swordsman, but he effortlessly dodged the monster even if it was quite nimble. The green-haired man grinned evilly and drew out all three swords. Crossing his arms, Zoro ran forward and launched out his powerful attack.

"Oni Giri!"

The monster howled and fell to the ground, unmoving. Zoro sheathed his swords and walked towards Luffy, still smirking.

"Aaaaaaah...That was great!" sighed Luffy, finally satisfied and replenished of his energy, even though some more monsters wouldn't have hurt. He then received two hits at the head from the angry Swordsman, for he has eaten all of the meat only giving some scarce rest to Zoro.

Luffy stood up with a jump an while putting his treasured straw hat on again he shouted: "Now, let's go find Nami!" So the captain darted off into the forest and wandered around the woods with the Swordsman following closely. Having no clue at all about the Navigator's disposition, they we're just idiotically calling and shouting around: "NAAAMMIII where are yooouuuuu..." Luffy was looking around every tree of the forest and down every large leaf, as if Nami was hiding somewhere outhere. Hence, they we're soon enough lost in the forest again.

Waking up hardly from her forced sleep, Nami opened her eyes. She looked around and saw the rest of the berries she ate before falling unconscious.

*How stupid. How could I eat such a thing? I knew that I should search for oranges to eat instead.*

When her mind finally cleared up completely, she heard a familiar but not so familiar voice calling her name. She tended her ears to hear from where the sound came from, but she only knew that the sound was farther than two seconds ago.

She thought about what she should do and finally decided to follow the traces of Luffy's voice, even if it's getting weaker.

After searching for Nami for what seemed like hours, Zoro got extremely annoyed and just wanted to leave the witch behind and leave this damned island. But of course, Luffy was convinced that Nami was going to stay as their navigator and wouldn't accept.

"Where the hell could she be?" Zoro grunted. "I woke up once before we arrived here and she was rowing, she must have left as soon as possible to do whatever she wanted to do. Annoying woman."

Luffy just screamed louder and forced Zoro to yell with him.

"Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaami! Where are yooooooooooooooooou?"

After a few more moments, the swordsman stopped, feeling thirsty after the meager meal he had, courtesy of his idiot captain. He looked around and saw some more berries on a bush. Thinking back to earlier, the monster seemed quite healthy after eating the berries, so they should be safe to eat and would surely quench his thirst. The green-haired man didn't notice a slight difference between the berries he now held in his hand and the berries the monster gobbed down.

Zoro was about to eat them when a person ran out of the trees and slapped the berries away from his hand.

[Nami_Lilasblanc]

*Huff* *huff* *huff* "Looks like I made in time. don't eat this berry, it got a poison in it which makes you fall unconscious."

Zoro turned around. Nami was there, standing behind him, her hand raised.

"Eh? Nami?" Luffy turned around to see the crew's Navigator standing there with a somewhat angry look on her face. " What were you guys thinking! I nearly died of these berries and no one went to rescue me!" said the frustrated women to the two guys and giving them each a huge bang on the head.

She then went ahead to relate the story of the shiny point on the highest part of the island and how she suspect it to be a magnificent treasure. Just as the word treasure came out of Nami's mouth Luffy suddenly burst out: "OH! So there's a treasure on this place! WOUHOU TREASURE! Ok! I've decided, we're going to find this treasure before leaving the island!" And so, Luffy darted off in the direction of the shiny point.

Nami facepalmed and sighed: " I didn't even finish the story and he already makes the decision..." Zoro, who was leaning by a giant tree also sighed loudly: " Yeah, what an idiot, it was supposed to be this way, and he pointed to the direction of the sea (i.e. the wrong direction)" Well, better follow Luffy before he disappears...

[Nami_Lilasblanc]

Nami was tired... She never knew that it was so far away. It seemed like they didn't make any progress in those past five hours. She didn't even know if it was really five hours... They lost the notion of time.

She was walking behind the two others, pushing Zoro toward the good direction because she knew that if she let go, Zoro will go somewhere far away from the treasure.

"Are we still far away?" She said.

Suddenly...

[OPnakama]

Something or someone charged down from the sky towards where the small group stood. Zoro watched, mouth agape, as another figure, twice the size of the first one, followed down and started chasing the other, which now they could see was a man with a pair of wooden wings on his back. The second creature was a kind of hybrid, with the head and claws of a falcon, the stripped body of a tiger and wings burning with fire, like those of a phoenix.

The man flew into the forest and crashed onto branches with his flying machine, and when he glided overhead of the Straw Hats, Zoro had to knock away the splinters of wood away with his sword so they wouldn't get hurt. The creature that give chase, though, seemed stay above the treetops, as if to not harm the forest. The two soon disappeared out of their vision.

"Let's chase them too!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Wait. I think either the man or the creature dropped something interesting..." Zoro smirked, holding up something shiny to the two others.

[Nami_Lilasblanc]

"waaaaah!!!! THE TREASURE!!!" Nami yelled, running toward the shining unidentified object. "I'm sure it's something worth a loooooot of money." $.$

As she took the shining object in her hands, the glowing suddenly disappeared, leaving behind a normal rock...

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Nami was so frustrated with the plain-looking rock that she abruptly threw it away. The rock then made a landing on top of Luffy's head.

"Hm?" the captain was totally distracted by the other weird two person that just ran away and didn't even notice the supposedly shiny treasure that Zoro held in his hands moments ago. "What's this thing?" said the straw hat's captain, shaking it and then putting it close to his ear as if agitating a normal-looking rock could force it to make noise. The Swordsman, exasperated by his crew's stupidity went on and told his captain about how this rock was a possession of one of the weird creatures that just passed by.

After hearing this, Luffy swiftly changed his direction, heading now towards the point where the two strangers disappeared to. "Well we gotta give this rock back to its orginal owner! Ok I've decided, we're going to find these two weird guys and give them back their belongings!" His two other companions just knew too well about how this was just an excuse to follow the two weirdos.

They followed the lead of broken branches towards what Zoro supposed was the contrary direction of the mountain they walked all day to reach. Nami looked beat by the lack of treasure, but his captain was walking ahead with enthusiasm and even swung from branch to branch with his rubbery arms, often leaving Zoro and Nami behind and they had to catch up with him.

Suddenly, their walk was stopped by what seemed like a thick barrier of undergrowth, as if the forest stopped there and the place beyond this barrier was out of access. Lifting his head upwards, Zoro was amazed by the work of nature seeing that the top of the trees was linked to the mess of leaves and thorns, thus completely blocking the other side from their view. Luffy tried to break through the barrier by punching it, but the thorns pricked his hand. The swordsman heard a muffled grunt coming from their left and walked over.

The flying machine the crew saw earlier was in pieces that stuck out from the undergrowth. Along with the broken pieces, the green-haired man saw an arm and a foot also sticking out, and Luffy noticed it too. The captain decided to try and pull out the 'mysterious person of the bushes' and told Zoro and Nami to help.

"Oh well, captain's orders." Zoro said, annoyed. The three of them started to pull.

"Ugh... Why can't we just leave him here?" the barrier was even more solid than it looked like, and they were having a hard time.
